COSMO HAS A HOME

COSMO HAS A GREAT NEW HOME WITH TWO SMALL BUDDIES

 

We are happy to report that Cosmo when home today to his new mom Pat and two siblings.

OMG  Cosmo is THE best.

Cosmo is a three year old black and tan GSD. We originally though he was 6 but after further investigation we now believe he is no more than 3, max. He was a turn-in by a family who could no longer care for him. He did languish in a shelter for 5 weeks but became loved by the staff and volunteers enough so that we were called in to assist in getting him adopted.

Cosmo is neutered. He is HW negative, in great shape and as calm as calm could be. He is great with our cat Marvin Mouse but his chase Milo. We do believe he is fine with cats.    HE LOVED HIS BATH and does not mind hetting his nails clipped nor treated for his ear infection or getting eye drops!  Cosmo's skin has clear up 10% and his ear and eye issues are 2 days from being 100% cleared up. These were minor issues common to shelter housed animals and nothing at all to concern yourself with.  Cosmo weighs in at about 75#'s. He did have some ear issues which have been treated and will soon disappear. He also had some butt end dry skin, also a condition that will be gone in a week.  He was never abused or mistreated and is truly affectionate and loving in every way. He does love couch cuddles and to get up in bed with you in the morning. he learned to swim yesterday and somewhat enjoyed it. We will see as the days go one if he is back in the pool.

 

We have now had Cosmo for 13 days. He is a special dog with a great temperament and outlook. He loves everyone and is eager to learn. He knows come and gives tons of kisses and love but needs work on play and motvation. He loves to walk with you and to be with you at all times. He is a velcro dog now that he is accustom to being here. He would just as soon sit on the couch with you and hug than chase a ball.... but we are working on that.  He has not yet fetched a ball nor taken a toy from the toy box but that too happens in about a week. He now has a stuffed to and ball in his house, so he is getting there on the toy side. He is just a pleasure to have here.
