Happy to report on our success rate

WE FEEL LUCKY AND BLESSED TO HAVE PLACED 176 GSD AS OF EASTER DAY 2012!

Today we adopted out Rocco, our 171st German Shepherd Dog in the last 3.5 years.  Think of it as a dog a week... amazing !  WE ADOPTED 2 MORE THIS WEEKEND MOVING THE TOTAL TO 173, AND NOW ON EASTER WE ARE SENDING R LAST FOSTER, BEAUTIFUL ANGEL, TO HER NEW HOME IN INDIANAPOLIS. That make 176 for the 3.6 years we have been rescuing GSD's in Florida.

I must say that without Diane and I doing this as a team, it could never have happened. My hats off to Diane who has stuck with me in these hair-brain schemes and has supported me even when it became overwhelming or depressing.  With 6 of our own dogs, taking in these new boys and girls is truly a challenge.  We started this because we love the breed, but it has truly taken its toll. We do get burned out periodically and need a break, but somehow we still figure out a way to continue.
