RINGO FOUND A FOREVER HOME

RINGO NEEDS A FOREVER HOME

We first got Ringo from a shelter in Sarasota County where he came in with a female named LuLu. Both Ringo and LuLu (who by the way is now Kelly) found homes quickly but were also quickly lost again. Both came out of an abusive household where the owner was jailed. After being lost, Ringo was recovered after spending 3 weeks out on the street, still with his leash on! He readily came to a person and was never aggressive.

Ringo has had limited training but is doing well while in foster care with Michelle, our Schutzund trainer. Ringo does not like a prong collar and has been somewhat reactive to cars coming at him… so am I, but that’s another matter, and he is fearful of bicycles in some cases, but not all. Otherwise Ringo is pretty good in most situations. He seems to accept most other dogs but we recommend that he go to a one dog home. Ringo definitely needs someone who can train him with a fair but firm authoritarian (alpha) hand. He is not the type of dog that can be trained easily by a novice, but with a knowledgeable dog savvy person and a good training environment, he can have most of the basics down in 2-3 months. Ringo walks well on a leash and is housebroken. He is creat trained. He is a non aggressive and stable pet who just needs understanding and love. WE RECOMMEND HE GO TO AN ADULT ONLY HOME.

RINGO WHEN HOME TO HIS NEW FAMILY TODAY!.
