LOLA HAS A NEW FAMILY

Sandy is OUR FOSTER.  This is her iniotial assessment of this sweet girl.

“Lola! …L-O-L-A…lalala….. Lola! Well.. she is just so gorgeous and sweet, that I would love to see her find her forever home very soon!!  She just came to my house yesterday. I just named her and she answers to LOLA– she really does! She is smaller- 51 pounds now but Vet said she should gain about another 10 pounds which I will make sure she does. She needs some good food as her fur isn’t as soft as it should be and her skin is dry, but she’s been getting home made bone broth and five star dining along with my dogs. Sweet, sweet, sweet personality and will nuzzle you with her furry little head to say hello. and her pretty eyes are so gentle!! She is just a little lady who probably hasn’t experienced the finer things in life yet; although she does know what a bed is and hopped right on it, much to the horror of Zoey and Tiko. She’s okay with my male, but my female Zoey is less than pleased, and so Lola feels about the same. Not saying this is permanent- she has only been here 24 hrs. She doesn’t seem to have had much interaction with dogs and playing and has no idea what a toy is. Walks calmly on a leash by default only. A cat free house might be best unless they carry switchblades and swear like sailors like my cats do. But I don’t think this a deal breaker with training. She does know “no” and will correct easily. She is gentle and slightly timid, but you can also see will stand up for herself. She is intelligent and curious but a bit shy. Very gentle soul. So so sweet. She is a beauty now, and will only continue to become more stunning with good care! Have I said how sweet this girl is? Frankly, I contemplated just adopting her myself yesterday… but there is another GSD in a shelter that I’d like to help so….I know there is a very lucky family on this site that as I write this, is falling in love with sweet, sweet Lola!”.
