Bruno was adopted out by us as a 3 month old puppy to a good family. One member has become very ill and they must rehome Bruno. They wrote:
Good morning. It is with much sadness that I reach out to you – but we have decided to find Bruno a new home. Not because of anything he has done. He’s a wonderful dog but we’ve had a heck of an 18 months. My husband has battled stage 4 leukemia and is now in remission, combined with caring for my 95 yr old mom it has just become overwhelming. Last week I fractured my tibia on a walk with Bruno – he saw a squirrel as we exited the driveway and I wasn’t ready for it.
We have gone back and forth in this decision – but it is the right decision for him. He needs more activity and purpose. He is a wonderful dog. We have admittedly not socialized him a ton but he’s not been reactive. He completed his Gold Canine program, neutered, UTD on shots and Simparico trio. He turned two in April and is approx 80 lbs. He sleeps in his huge crate on wheels – and will stay in there if we have to leave for any length of time. He’s been accustomed to a fenced yard but would fit in anywhere. He does bark at neighboring dogs, doorbell, pool guy, yard guys, etc but is not aggressive with them when let loose.
My rescue will always rehome any dog we adopted out. He is available immediately.
